BOARD POSITIONS
Board members are comprised of parents from our daycare and may include community members as well. The Board meets every other month, or as needed to discuss issues related to the Centre’s operation and programs. Please contact the Executive Director if you are interested.
Many parents may have special abilities in areas such as music, arts, or crafts. We welcome your contributions to our programs.
RECYCLABLES
Donating “good junk” that is clean and can be used for crafts and activities.
We invite you to provide ideas or participate in field trips or to share your culture. Volunteers are always welcomed. Volunteers must, to the best of their ability, abide by the Licensing Regulations and Center Policy while assisting the Centre. Staff/leadership will ensure that volunteers are aware of relevant policies and regulations to ensure safety of the children.
SPECIAL EVENTS
We encourage parents to participate in our special events throughout the year, such as Annual General Meeting, Family Fun Day, Christmas Concert, and Grandparents Day in September
Your child can make beautiful arts and crafts with recycled items, such as: paper, ribbon, yarn, fabric, pipe cleaners, egg cartons and toilet paper rolls. We also appreciate donations of gently used toys, books, games, puzzles, music, or posters.
