Our Early Childhood Educators are  committed to providing quality care to the children A positive approach requires E.C.E.’s to use guidance techniques that considers the developmental needs and promotes the children’s interests and cooperation in the classroom through sound management of space, equipment and materials, as well as the children themselves.

DAYCARE HOURS:

The center is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm, excluding the following statutory holidays: Louis Riel Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Regular childcare fees apply for these days.ow about you and your business?


CHILD CARE FEES

Infant full time  – $10.00/day

Preschool full time – $10.00/day

School Age full time - $10.00/day School Days

School Age full time - $20.80 per day In-Service and School Holidays

OVERTIME SERVICES

A late fee will be charged, $10.00 for every fifteen minutes parents are late for pick up after 5:30pm. Failure to pay fees and/or a parent being late on three occasions may result in a notice of withdrawal of Day Care Services.


Parent Involvement

A vital component in your child’s care is your involvement. Without this it is difficult to achieve the quality of care that we all feel is desirable. Parents can be involved in different capacities.


BOARD POSITIONS

Board members are comprised of parents from our daycare and may include community members as well. The Board meets every other month, or as needed to discuss issues related to the Centre’s operation and programs. Please contact the Executive Director if you are interested.

SPECIAL SKILLS

Many parents may have special abilities in areas such as music, arts, or crafts. We welcome your contributions to our programs.

RECYCLABLES

Donating “good junk” that is clean and can be used for crafts and activities.

FIELD TRIPS

We invite you to provide ideas or participate in field trips or to share your culture. Volunteers are always welcomed. Volunteers must, to the best of their ability, abide by the Licensing Regulations and Center Policy while assisting the Centre. Staff/leadership will ensure that volunteers are aware of relevant policies and regulations to ensure safety of the children.


SPECIAL EVENTS

We encourage parents to participate in our special events throughout the year, such as Annual General Meeting, Family Fun Day, Christmas Concert, and Grandparents Day in September

DONATIONS

Your child can make beautiful arts and crafts with recycled items, such as: paper, ribbon, yarn, fabric, pipe cleaners, egg cartons and toilet paper rolls. We also appreciate donations of gently used toys, books, games, puzzles, music, or posters.

COMMUNICATION

St. Anne's Nursery Inc. strives to maintain open and positive lines of communication with Educators, Executive Director and Board of Directors. Share ideas, concerns, and suggestions with any member of the Board of Directors.
